John Milton (1608-1674) was closely connected with Wheatley and nearby villages. He was profound and inspirational writer and thinker of the "English revolution" and his ideas influenced the founding fathers and still have much to say to us today.

Charles draws our attention to some of those ideas and shows their roots in Independent and Congregational theology. His talk was illustrated with slides which are available also here.
